At San Diego Comic Con, the MCU introduced Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, who played the popular character Iron Man. In the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, RDJ plays Dr. Doom. In one or more of the coming Avengers movies, Robert will portray the villain Victor Von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom. Iron Man, the role that made the Marvel cinematic universe famous, was portrayed by Robert in nine different movies. However, on Saturday, Robert appeared sporting a green cloak and Dr. Doom’s mask. RDJ entered by shouting, “New mask, same task,” and the audience went crazy.
Along with Robert Downey Jr., Anthony and Joe Russo (the directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame) will also be coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The upcoming two Avengers films (Doomsday and Secret Wars) will be directed by the Russo Brothers.
Kevin Feige, CEO of Marvel Studios, gave an audience a glimpse of the company’s upcoming three films.
Captain America: Brave New World
Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con panel for “Captain America: Brave New World “began with fresh video that proved the MCU’s use of adamantium (from which Logan’s claws were made), which originated with the Celestial Tiamut of the Eternals. After that, the cast moved aside to see a scene from the film on the big screen, which showed that Sam Wilson, played by Mackie and Harrison Ford’s President Thaddeus Ross are trying to revive the Avengers. The changing of Ford’s character into the Red Hulk was also shown.
Fantastic Four: First Steps
Marvel Studios revealed that the official title of the Fantastic Four is Fantastic Four: The First Step. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach starred in The Fantastic Four. During the discussion, it was revealed that the main members of the Fantastic Four will be seen in the upcoming two Avengers films. The gigantic supervillain Galactus stands over Earth in the final, breathtaking scene of the teaser.
Thunderbolts
The Thunderbolts cast also shocked audiences by presenting a short clip from the film. Among the cast members are Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. Also has Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, will be producing the film, which is scheduled for release on May 5, 2025.
